The Raytheon Award
On behalf of “Operation Iraq: The Spirit of Christmas,” Ruth Ann Young traveled to Washington, D.C. in May to receive a Raytheon Program Achievement Award during formal ceremonies at the Cannon House Office Building. More than 200 dignitaries, honorees and invited guest took part in the gala recognition luncheon. Now in its 17th year, the Raytheon Awards are a program of the Armed Services YMCA of the USA.
